We’re delighted to announce that our paper ‘Recurrent loss of heterozygosity correlates with clinical outcome in pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer’ is now available for viewing on BioRxIV (‘Bioarchive), a preprint server.  The article can be viewed here.

This article represents the first results from our genomic profiling of NETs.  We started with a clinically homogeneous group of well-differentiated pancreatic NETs, performed DNA and RNA studies, and came out with some fascinating discoveries about these tumours, showing they were far from homogeneous genomically.  The links between genomic data and clinical characteristics of patients and their pancreatic NETs generated a real translational application of our research that we hope will become valuable in the clinic as much as in the laboratory.
